As a part of our fast-moving, agile team, you'll be responsible for the user experience, including: - Transforming ideas, business opportunities, research and creative vision into desirable outcomes for our users. - Creating detailed wireframes, information architecture diagrams, mental models, personae's, usability testing stimulus, and site maps. - Working closely with colleagues to brainstorm and create concepts for mobile, tablet and desktop environments. - Being a passionate advocate for the u.

The Designer is responsible for all design work on the foundational capabilities for the Wings platform and the BlueSky servicing application. They work closely with Product Managers and Engineering team to ideate, validate, build, quality control and iterate on the product. They work in conjunction with other UX Designers across servicing capabilities teams to promote design consistency and offer guidance on how multiple journeys and functionalities fit together within the platform.

Works hands-on in all aspects of user experience developments including: collecting and understanding business & user needs, crafting information architecture diagrams, building out detailed annotated wireframes, high/low fidelity prototypes and a wide range of strategic UX work in a dynamic, agile environment.

Organizational Context:

Reports to a Director in Global Servicing Group Technology team to be a part of foundational servicing platform team, which is a combination of product (PD&I) and engineering roles.

Typically co-located with the Product Management team / Product Manager

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Transform ideas, business opportunities, research and creative vision into tangible assets that provide clear, usable, useful, and desirable outcomes for users.
  • Build detailed wireframes, high/low fidelity prototypes, information architecture diagrams, mental models, site maps, story boards, and user flows along with a wide range of UX assets and deliverables.
  • Lead UX design works in agile, fast paced environment - fluently deliver just in time design works for sprint cycles while enhancing the quality and experience of the products.
  • Effectively act on partner feedback, user testing results and learnings to improve assets, products and services.
  • Incorporate user insights and data-driven solutions throughout the creative process.
  • Ensure adherence to design best practices, standards, brand consistency.
  • Find opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.

  • Strong design portfolio showing at least one of the following: Empathy and Journey Maps, Clear Problem Statements, Ideation and Sketching, Lo- and Hi-Fidelity Prototypes
  • Clear understanding of design fundamentals: Typography, Color, Contrast, Visual Hierarchy, Spatial Relationships.
  • Ability to simplify and turn complex interactions into intuitive user experiences and to clearly communicate how individual journeys align/don't align to user and business goals.
  • Expertise in design and collaboration tools: Must know Sketch & InVision.
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written), especially focused on running collaborative workshops and articulating design strategies.
  • Familiarity in the technical capabilities and limitations of HTML, JS and CSS (bonus points for React.js, Node.js, BDaaS, and other platform-level technology).
  • Familiarity with Design Thinking, Lean UX, Lean Startup, Scrum and Agile values and methodologies.
  • Have a positive attitude, open mind, and a desire to collaborate and learn.
  • At least 3 years of previous experience.


Educational Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (optional) or , Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Communication Design, or degree from User Experience or Interaction Design intensive.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
