What WillBe Your Purpose:

You will support the Advanced Technology Solutions team and will be responsible for user experience research and design including interaction design using the design thinking process. Areas of focus include user-centered research, usability testing, interaction design, visual design, user experience design to achieve a superior user experience. You will conduct research to gain insight on design trends across industries and incorporate best practices into the development of design solutions.

This role will also support IT Marketing and Communication through the creation and editing of video and photo content. This specialist will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering pleasing and engaging media packages, including graphics, photography, video, and sound. Additionally, this role will help educate non-designers on how visual design solutions can meet business needs while improving the customer experience, by explaining how solutions will satisfy business requirements.

What Will You Be Doing:

• Create artifacts (pattern libraries, design specs, wireframes, conceptual diagrams, task flows storyboards, etc.) to develop solutions, gain alignment, and encourage innovation within and across the organization
• Leverage graphic design expertise, brand identify, and consumer psychology by utilizing a variety of contrast, color, tone, and other elements to present designs in a clear, visually-appealing way
• Monitors design trends and best practices across industries to implement appropriate design practices in IT at Florida Blue
• Work with developers and other designers to create realistic prototypes for internal evaluation, user testing, and cross-functional teams
• Create visual designs for marketing material such as newsletters, email templates, and campaigns

What is Required?

• 4+ years related work experience
• Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience
• Experience working with or on an innovative, creative, team/organization
• You can produce stunning, interactive designs and experiences
• Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions
• Possess a solid grasp of human-centered design
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders
• Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
• Passionate about all things UX/UI and other areas of design and innovation
• Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies
• Proficient in design and prototyping software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Axure, Keynote, etc.)
• At least 4 years of work experience related to UX research, UX design, interaction design, or human centered design
• A portfolio demonstrating user design experience best practices

What is preferred?

• Healthcare and/or prior Florida Blue or Guidewell experience
