We’re looking for an experienced manager of people, someone that can inspire others, take our creative to a new level, and organize our team to deliver great work at high speed as we continue fast growth. The ideal candidate will play a key role in establishing our definitive brand soon after starting, develop the team as a creative studio for MURAL, and establish strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders throughout the company.

In this role you will:

• Play a key strategic role in creating and defining our brand strategy
• Build, lead, and review work of a team of visual designers, motion designers, photographers/videographers in the production of all web, print, and digital marketing collateral, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges
• Ensure that designs and content reflect MURAL’s brand image and company ideals consistently and positively
• Spearhead and manage creative strategy for both small-scale and large-scale projects, harnessing strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content, and technology
• Work with executives and other creative leaders in Product Design and Marketing to set project deadlines and content goals
• Nurture and build our creative studio of MURAL employees and external partners that exceed the expectations of our stakeholders
• Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs, establishing production schedules in collaboration with your team and stakeholders 
• Oversee the creative budget
• Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team and other design leaders to develop fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences in a fiscally responsible manner
• Present, or oversee presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables

YOUR PROFILE

• 10+ years of related experience with 7+ years of creative direction in agency or high-growth tech company
• Years of experience supporting marketing campaigns from collaborating with marketers from developing vision to overseeing production on time and budget
• Proven experience with concept development
• Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
• Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
• Prior project management experience, with a focus on creative direction
• Independent, self-starter with ability to work with a distributed team
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills - we work as a team at MURAL and a collaborative, low-ego, growth mindset is necessary. 
• Ability to work successfully with little guidance and comfort navigating ambiguity
• Cross-culturally aware and sensitive to working with global teams
• You think big and are are used to working with top talent
