Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and creative problem solver with UX experience in the SaaS industry to help build and enhance our growing product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer challenges and be able to map user journeys through design thinking frameworks. This candidate will be excited to own the experience in mapping the full UX lifecycle of ideation and Go-To-Market while keeping focus on outcome driven KPIs.

What will you be doing?

In the Senior User Experience Designer role, you will work alongside our Product and Business Group leads and take direction from the Chief Product Officer. You will understand how users interact with AvePoint’s products and in turn look at how we can build world class experiences to drive improved adoption, engagement, and value.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Problem solving through frameworks and solving the user's needs by understanding our personas
• Collaborating with designers and developers to apply design language and patterns to our applications 
• Ensuring collaboration with business and product partners through agile methods
• Generating design concepts, flows, wireframes, transitions, interactions, and prototypes
• Understanding and owning design thinking as part of the full design lifecycle
• Researching our telemetry data to validate concepts, test prototypes and apply findings into designs
• Passionately bringing the UX point of view to the table

Other qualities that you’ll need to be a fit for this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Human Interaction, or other related design degree
• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience
• A strong UX design portfolio (applicants must provide a link or attach their portfolio of work)
• Expert experience and knowledge of the Adobe Suite, XD, Miro or other virtual whiteboarding software

• Advanced experience solving varying design challenges with creativity, efficiency, and precision

• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively or prior leadership experience is a nice-to-have

• Experience building original SaaS products with focus on user experience
• Self-direction and confidence with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
