As a Senior Product Designer at Samsara, you will ship designs that our customers use every day to run their operations. We’re looking for someone who is excited to shape the daily experience of those customers across industries such as transportation and logistics, construction, food and beverage, government and more. In this role, you will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success to identify customer needs, explore design solutions, and deliver value. You will also engage directly with customers and leverage their feedback throughout your process. You will be expected to influence strategy and ship well-crafted designs that make our customers’ operations more efficient, safe, and sustainable.

- Lead design of complex projects through development and launch while driving product area goals
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering on strategy, planning, and execution
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs and validate design solutions

- 4+ years experience designing web & mobile applications
- Expertise in interaction and visual design
- Figma fluency (including prototyping)
- Portfolio showcasing your craft and ability to solve user-problems
- Best in class product design abilities
- Ability to engage with customers to understand needs and validate designs
- Excellent collaboration with cross-functional partners
- Track record of strategic influence & shipping impact
: Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually.
We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.
The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$140,760—$207,000 USD
