Meet the team:

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to build the experiences to be used across the organization. We have a suite of interactive products used internally across the organization, including:

• In-Vehicle displays for both passengers and Test Specialists
• Operational infrastructure interfaces that power our self-driving fleet, including our Remote Guidance, Remote Technical Support, and Mission Control interfaces
• Tools to quickly and accurately label data from our sensors and cameras
• Tools to create virtual simulation scenarios to test our self-driving fleet virtually

What you’ll do: 

• Design as part of a small, focused team where you’ll iterate quickly—Argo is a fast-paced organization, and you’ll be expected to work together with multiple stakeholders across various orgs in the company to produce designs
• Deeply engage with engineering, operations, and product teams to build mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity final designs 
• Translate our customers’ needs into clearly defined designs
• Find innovative ways to accelerate our development, reduce risk, and improve the overall product experience; work with the company to implement these initiatives and fully realize them

What you'll need to succeed:

• Education in design or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong command on design and workflow management
• Solid understanding of human-computer interaction and UI/UX best practices
• Prior experience in Design
• Experience in Figma, Sketch, or similar
• Ability to speak with and understand technical details
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and make trade-offs
• Exposure to common development and software planning practices
• Domain knowledge across the transportation, mobility, and sharing-economy ecosystems
• Strong understanding of the transportation business dynamics in the self-driving space
• Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and to evolve product strategy and design based on research, data and industry trends; excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
• Strong data analysis skills. The ideal candidate will be able to reason data into implications
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills
