Senior Content Designer
As a Sr. Content Designer, you will be part of the team responsible for designing products that help our guests gain the most enjoyment from their experiences within our Parks, Resorts and Cruises. Beyond providing practical and useful solutions, you will create the content architecture and strategy for the digital experiences that connect with our guests on an emotional level, delivering designs with the quality and character expected from Disney. Your role is a crucial part of the Guest journey as the Content Design team acts as the connective element that supports our Guests' content experience across multiple products, platforms, touch points and teams. Your expertise managing content lifecycle, structure and organization of products that may have complex legacy systems is essential to both appropriate ROI and KPIs for content. You'll approach your work from a versatile, holistic perspective - applying expertise across user experience, content strategy, and interface design - to determine complete product solutions.

Responsibilities :
- Guide the creation, distribution and governance of content for all assigned projects
- Develop strategic content designs to inspire, shape, and create compelling experiences that benefit our Guests and support business and project priorities
- Use industry, business, Guest, product, and site analytics to guide content decisions on digital products and experiences
- Develop complex information architectures and taxonomies across products and platforms and maintain filter documentation that includes the categories, dimensions and values of content entities, their relationships, and the rules governing filter displays
- Collaborate with Copywriters to ensure content achieves goals and support the Guest experience
- Ensure consistency and collaboration between disciplines and strategic continuity across content design deliverables
- Build relationships with partners and teams to identify opportunities to support organization-wide needs with content design
- Research and reports on relevant industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for new or improved content experiences across the organization
Basic Qualifications :
- Easily identify Content Design needs for many products and also estimate Content Design hours to inform product budgets and timelines
- Integrate and collaborate naturally with Product Designers to create experiences that fulfill product and requirements
- Proficiency in User Experience best practices and concepts as they relate to content, product and feature UI
- Have a grasp of organizational principles of content, including information architecture, building taxonomies and categorization.
- Comfortable extracting and analyzing different types of data to inform content design recommendations
- Distill complex content design concepts into clear and digestible presentations for review with several partners, including executive leadership
- Understand the effects of new technologies in changing Guest experiences and the KPIs that measure them
- Bring original, strategic ideas to the discipline and organization; present to all leaders to secure approval of CD ideas and recommendations
