We are looking for an enthusiastic Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designer to be part of an industry leading team working on the detailed design and physical layout of complex PCBs. Cadence Allegro is the primary design tool used in the development of our state-of-the-art, high-speed PCB designs. This position is focused on providing PCB designs with the absolute best signal quality and power delivery, establishing design standards and configurations that meet the needs of Micron's cutting edge engineering teams.
Responsibilities:

  • Leading all aspects of PCB design from requirement definitions, schematic creation and layout completion to fabrication
  • Applying extensive PCB design knowledge to solve complex problems
  • Serves as a technical authority opening the way to innovative PCB solutions
  • Working with signal integrity and product engineers developing groundbreaking solutions
  • Evaluation of existing designs and seeing opportunities for design improvements


Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electronics or a related field or equivalent experience
  • A strong command of PCB manufacturing processes, high speed signal integrity design rules and power distribution
  • Completion of signal integrity classes, certifications or webinars
  • The ability to handle a fast paced workload and changing priorities
  • Extensive experience with Cadence Allegro layout tools
  • The desire to work well as part of a team, maintaining a positive "can-do" attitude
  • CID, CID+ preferred
