About the Role:
Epicor is looking for a dynamic, creative, self-starter to fill the role of Multi-Media Instructional Designer. The Multi-Media Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating content that delivers effective training for varying learning styles and audiences.
This person must be detail-oriented, organized and concise; must be able to work with a team, but also excel independently, and can effectively work in a faced paced environment with tight deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality work.
What You'll Do:

• Be primarily focused on applying adult learning theory and instructional design principles in assessing knowledge gaps, developing course outlines, objectives, and course delivery models
• Design creative and interactive training content, including but not limited to quizzes, demonstrations, modules and learning activities
• Develop new courses, videos, help articles, and user guides, in conjunction with colleagues for varying audiences.
• Incorporate the use of audio and video-based media to enhance learner engagement
• Monitor and improve instructional design templates and standards
• Manage content production from storyboard creation through module/course publication
• Continually innovate and develop new content models for varying audiences
• Pursue and recommend new production techniques and media technologies for potential adoption
• Partner with subject matter experts to learn the product, identify educational needs and write content

What You Need to Succeed:

• In depth understanding of adult learning principles
• The ability to profile and identify the learner's perspective and create a learning experience that will meet the program's objectives
• Technical writing experience
• Expertise in eLearning authoring packages such as Camtasia, and Articulate Storyline
• Working expertise with Learning Management Systems and content authoring (SCORM)
• Experience in a wide range of content creation methods, incorporating interactions, simulations and quizzes
• Passion for web-based and mobile technology and knowledge of industry structure and trends,
• 3-5 years track record in developing innovative strategies that produce exceptional results
• Experience recording audio and visual for multimedia content

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

• Graphic Design experience
• Degree in relative field
