As a Lead Instructional Designer you will drive customer adoption by creating an outstanding learning experience that customers enjoy consuming. You will also develop strategy and architecture for learning content, including persona- and workflow-driven learning paths, courseware, and creating instructional videos as well as other educational assets. You will be a content factory by creating learning assets to be added to the customer training catalog, while also implementing instrumentation and ensure consumption of assets produced across customer base. Overall you will become an expert in People.ai products and be self-sufficient in creating new assets.

Responsibilities

  • Assess current training content, and work with Manager to create proposed content development plan.
  • Create short videos on any topic related and relevant to People.ai for evaluation by the team.
  • Work independently and with internal SMEs to create learning assets (quantity to be determined) to be added to the customer training catalog each month, ultimately decreasing the need for Services, Support, and live trainings.
  • Spend your average day creating content.
  • Architect persona-specific learning paths and accreditations.
  • Leverage data to continually improve the consumption rate and effectiveness of content by users, ultimately increasing overall product usage.
  • Manage and maintain content in LMS/CMS ensuring course content is reflected in systems of delivery.
  • Manage vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality output.

Requirements

  • Educational Communication - speak and write clearly and succinctly, simplifying complex processes into easily understandable concepts that learners can grasp and apply.
  • Translate Subject Matter Expert knowledge to an effective learning product for the intended audience.
  • Proven Execution - can point to multiple examples of delivering on-time results based on plans that exhibited resourcefulness, inventiveness, and focus.
  • Customer Empathy and partnership - listen intently to customers’ needs and can translate those needs into programs and kits that simplify the customer’s world.
  • Data-driven problem solver - gather and analyze data to inform improvements for learning assets and the overall program.
  • Technical Skills - ability to create video and multimedia content complemented with written skills.
  • Passionate Educator - love sharing knowledge in fun and inspiring ways.
