Job Description

JM Family is looking for a highly driven, creative, and collaborative instructional designer who will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing function within the Talent Development team. The candidate will work along aside the key stakeholders across various lines of businesses, to curate or develop learning content that is engaging, innovative and enhances the learning experience. In addition, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for our Learning Management System.

The successful candidate must be familiar with proven models of design, adult learning theories and delivery modalities. You must be curious about new trends of learning, explores new ways of doing things to delight the customer and is technologically adept. The candidate must be a skilled communicator, with an acute ability to understand customer needs and translate them into viable learning solutions. The candidate must be highly adaptable with strong learning agility.

Responsibilities:
• Assists with all facets of learning development including needs assessment, design and development, and successful delivery of learning content that aligns with business and learning objectives• Deliver high-quality learning enablement solutions that support a blended learning approach• Serve as the subject matter expert for the learning platform; collaborate with key stakeholders to drive adoption and engagement• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage technical updates to the system, manage enrollments, content curation and day to day training needs• Build awareness and educate stakeholders on new learning tools, techniques, and delivery modalities• Leverage reporting and analytics to produce management reports • Act as a change agent by embracing new ways of learning and remaining current on new learning technologies (i.e. LMS, Content Providers and eLearning tools)

Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design or a related field preferred • Minimum of 2 years instructional design experience including e-learning design principles • Minimum of 2 years experience configuring, administering and troubleshooting learning management systems• Proficient with office productivity tools• Workday Experience a plus• Proficient in learning management systems, terminology, and designing to learning industry standards (e.g., SCORM/AICC)• Experience in using learning development tools such as Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, Vyond, and other content development tools
• Demonstrated experience in applying the principles of instructional design and learning & development methodologies
