Graphic Designer
Adswerve is looking for a Graphic Designer to help drive brand awareness and growth among its clients and Google partnerships. The ideal candidate for this position within the marketing department will have a keen eye for detail, experience with studio design and document layout within Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace, creation of graphics and preparing files for output.
Responsibilities
- Create graphics, templates, blog images and collateral within the Adobe Creative Suite
- Utilize Google Workspace to layout graphics and copy for slide presentations and documents that effectively visualize and communicate our products and services to clients and partners
- Assist with email and landing page template creation
- Manage, design and distribute the company's internal digital newsletter
- Update website pages and blog posts including copy, graphics and imagery
- Maintain the company's design resources and image library
- Manage design requests and workflow to meet deadlines
- Ensure consistency of company brand and brand guidelines
- Manage coordination with vendors to order swag and giveaways
- Video production and editing
- Manage the workflow of projects and keep stakeholders up-to-date on timelines, due dates, etc.
Essential knowledge, skills and abilities
- 2 to 3 years working in a design agency or B2B marketing department
- Hands-on experience with design and layout within Google Business Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs and Forms) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere)
- Ability to work across teams to concept and create product one-sheeters and collateral
- Knowledge of email and landing page template creation in HubSpot's Marketing Hub or Marketo
- Experience in WordPress with page creation and layout, uploading media assets and graphic placement
- Experience designing and producing digital newsletters in programs such as Canva or InDesign
- Hands-on experience with video production including equipment (cameras, sound, lighting and backgrounds) and ability to edit and upload completed files
- Google Drive file management experience
- Basic knowledge of HTML (coding a plus but not required)
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with a creative mind
- Exceptional communication skills
- Able to be a self-starter and flexible with priorities and deadlines depending on team and company needs
- Support marketing team members by helping to write creative briefs and providing feedback to our creative agency on design projects
- Interest in writing copy a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A desire to learn and grow within the designer role as well as other key functions of marketing
- BS/BA/Associate degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
This position pays between $25.00 to $31.25 per hour. Wage differential is based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training and experience.
