About the team...
Our team is creating meaningful impact in a world of data breaches and hacked passwords. We also have a lot of fun doing it. We love learning from our customers through our research practice. Our project work and design systems span mobile and web interfaces. The team is highly collaborative and works closely with engineers and product managers. We are at an exciting moment in our growth. Design Thinking at Duo...
Design Thinking (DT) is mission critical to empowering our teams to discover opportunities, define problems to solve and explore novel solutions that customers love and trust. The successful candidate will have practical skills to work closely with cross functional teams to help them distill complex problems with empathy and define a vision and strategy to shape the future of our products and services.
In this role you will...
• Facilitate collaboration and sharing that helps people align around an idea, take action and move that idea forward
• Work to create a safe place for people to get together from across many disciplines
• Collaborate with a diverse set of people from across Cisco and Duo to evangelize and provide Design Thinking consultation, coaching people on various Design Thinking methods
• Provide practical education on Design Thinking and facilitation practices that are inclusive and easy-to-adopt
• Create and manage scalable educational material and toolkits, as well as document and share case studies
• Continually learn, get feedback, and evolve the Design Thinking capabilities
• Assist in planning and facilitating Design Thinking workshops
Experience you bring includes...
• Experience creating and running Design Thinking workshops, with the right stakeholders involved and informed, and workshop agenda and activities meet the learning objectives
• Managing Design Thinking workshop logistics, as well as coaching people on various roles that are needed such as co-facilitator and documenter
• Confidently explain Design Thinking planning decisions and rationale - conveying why a creative approach, method, or activity is appropriate, given the project constraints and goals
• A foundational set of methods and techniques used in facilitating creative collaboration
• A facilitation practice focused on helping people learn and grow in their careers and lives
