That’s how we know our creatives are the best.  Our end-to-end creative and production services have the ability to concept, create, shoot, edit and optimize across traditional advertising, digital, social, and experiential all in-house. That’s how we produce the breadth of assets modern marketing campaigns require more efficiently, without sacrificing quality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

The Creative Director will act as a key player in ideating and overseeing the execution of creative marketing campaigns and deliverables (primarily A/V) for Known’s Entertainment Marketing brand clients. Reporting to the VP, Group Creative Director, the ideal candidate will be a seasoned writer, world builder and overall creative who motivates, inspires, and drives original and progressive campaign concepts for our Entertainment Marketing clients. This position knows how to tell stories, on any platform, to drive engagement. You have a pulse on creative trends in entertainment marketing and culture and a creative sensibility that extends across content genres. You excel at building strong cross-functional relationships in fast paced organization, and can lead teams of all sizes to success. 

  • Develop strategic, cut-through ideas, stories and creative concepts that connect our client’s brands with target audiences in order to drive business growth
  • Write strong creative briefs that inspire great creative output; lead cross-functional business development/pitch teams to execute across those creative briefs to develop innovative and high performing concepts to clients
  • Creative power-house and true out of the box thinker with an extensive track record of ideating and delivering world-class and award-winning creative to clients 
  • An excellent copywriter and writer’s “writer” who can develop original scripts across multiple lengths and mediums
  • Strong ability to write in a range of different content genres and tones of voice, including comedy
  • Dynamic and engaging presenter of creative ideas and concepts, able to articulate and pitch creative concepts and scripts to clients, internal teammates and senior leadership 
  • Detail and deadline-oriented to ensure projects are on time and budget. Able to work efficiently and react quickly to change
  • Ensure consistency and efficacy of creative, working within the client’s established brand guidelines
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: curious, fast, adaptive and agile
  • Ensures budgets and timelines appropriately balance creative requirements and client needs
  • Lead new business efforts and knows who to engage to ensure a winning effort

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE/WHO YOU ARE

This role is right for you if: 

  • You have a diverse portfolio featuring a wide range of creative campaigns, with a breadth of conceptual ideas and approaches to solving marketing problems
  • You are a strong written storyteller, regardless of medium
  • You have deep experience writing creative briefs and leading editorial/copy direction 
  • You have a portfolio of work including original shoot and clip based projects/campaigns
  • You possess a solid understanding of how creativity can achieve business objectives while still meeting and encouraging brand standards for aesthetic and communication quality
  • You demonstrate the optimism to think bigger, the curiosity to dig deeper, and the passion to do better
  • You are able to adapt to new ideas, processes, and business problems with ease and enthusiasm
  • You have strong verbal, presentation and writing skills
  • You are able to create sincere, authentic bonds with colleagues and clients
  • You have fluency with Google product suite/Microsoft 365 applications, and an aptitude for learning technology tools quickly

Your background includes:

  • Ideally 7-10+ years of creative experience in advertising, working in a full-service entertainment agency and/or studio within a Creative Services/Creative Marketing department
  • 2-3 years experience leading teams across various marketing verticals
