Your role with us
As a Design System Technical Writer, you’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining best-in-class documentation for Easygo’s design systems. You’ll work closely with Designers, Engineers, and Product partners to translate complex design and engineering patterns into clear, structured, and user-friendly content for a range of audiences. Your work will help ensure consistency, usability, and efficiency across our platforms, empowering teams to build faster and with confidence. You’ll champion documentation standards, improve discoverability, and contribute to the evolution of how knowledge is shared across the organisation.

What you will do:
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve high-quality technical documentation for Easygo’s Design Systems.
- Collaborate closely with Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information, validate accuracy, and ensure documentation reflects current system behaviour and best practice.
- Translate complex technical and design concepts into clear, concise, and accessible content tailored to multiple audiences.
- Structure and organise documentation to improve usability, discoverability, and adoption across teams.
- Create diagrams, visual aids, and supporting materials to enhance understanding of components, patterns, and workflows.
- Review and update existing documentation to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with evolving systems.
- Contribute to and help evolve in-house documentation standards, style guides, and best practices.
- Support the Design System team in driving consistency, efficiency, and quality across web and native platforms.
- 3+ years’ experience in technical writing, ideally within software, technology, or entertainment environments.
- Strong ability to write clear explanatory and procedural documentation for diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and structure.
- Experience working with content management systems and version control tools.
- Solid understanding of UX principles and how documentation supports usability and adoption.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for learning, improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Experience documenting APIs and familiarity with programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with design system documentation tools such as Zeroheight, Supernova, Knapsack, or similar.
- Experience creating multimedia content such as video tutorials or interactive guides.
- Background in entertainment, gaming, or large-scale digital platforms.
