Munters is a global leader in climate solutions, delivering innovative and energy-efficient systems for mission-critical industries. We are seeking a Design Specialist to support product design and manufacturing through 3D modeling and technical documentation.

What You’ll Do
• Create 3D models, assemblies, and sheet metal designs in SolidWorks
• Develop BOMs and detailed assembly instructions
• Collaborating with manufacturing to resolve design challenges
• Design piping systems (carbon steel, stainless steel, copper)
• Support continuous improvement and special projects
• Train and support team members on design tools

What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years of SolidWorks or 3D CAD experience
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal and mechanical assemblies
• Familiarity with HVAC or mechanical systems preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

Skills Required
- Advanced knowledge of PDM/Solid Contact
- Ability to train SolidWorks, PDM, Solid Contact
- Advanced knowledge of three-dimensional modeling techniques
- Advanced knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and assembly
- General knowledge of mechanical/HVAC principles
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- High mechanical and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-through skills
- Ability to visualize equipment based on basic information for first time builds
- Minimum associate degree (BSEE/BSEET) required; MS preferred
- Equivalent work experience in 3D CAD modeling will be considered
- At least 3 to 5 years' experience in engineered design with SolidWorks
- Ability to communicate with site personnel, Sales PM, Service Manager and Technical Support
- Understand fabrication of pipe assemblies
- Understand pipe layout methods including supports, expansion joints, Victaulic, welded, solder, compression
