Role Overview
We're looking for someone who:
- Has at least 3+ years of experience as a design researcher
- Must have a strong background in Design research/ Ethnographic research/User Experience research.
- Has a demonstrable portfolio of work that reflects the breadth & depth of skills as a Design researcher
- Has real-world experience in conducting user interviews and field study
- Exposure and experience working in international clients/geographies will be a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with lead design researcher, interaction designer, counterparts in other functions/teams which are involved in the project, ensuring tight integration between Design and their respective workstreams in the best way that delivers on the client’s / stakeholder’s needs.
- Articulating research plan and research methodology on the basis of business understanding and context of the users.
- Developing detailed research methodology and research process, methods, and tools that are best suited for that project and client/stakeholder.
- Co-ordinating with external recruitment agencies and clients to ensure research plan management.
- Conducting user interviews and any other interactions with the users.
- Creating interview synthesis reports, frameworks and artifacts to discover insights, opportunities, and unmet needs.
- Collaborating with the rest of the design team to translate insights into the design that is high in addressing the user’s voice.

- Must have a strong background in Design research/ Ethnographic research/User Experience research.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver high-quality solutions under timelines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to do Storytelling, presentation, and visual communication with required stakeholders.
