The DMC Finance team sits within the Business Finance Organization (BFO), acting as the key interface between the Marketing business clusters and Finance. Together with the Marketing Business Leaders, the team co-pilots in delivering the business strategy, acting as a strategic thought partner for our dedicated budget owners across the business, focusing on group wide value creation and providing data-driven insights. As a member of DMC Finance you will facilitate the strategic direction of Marketing by being in the driver seat for marketing investment and budgeting steering processes. You will closely align with stakeholders across the organisation (e.g. Marketing, Commercial Planning & Trading, Finance) and be their sparring partner with your financial and business expertise.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You will co-own the financial success of one of the Market clusters with the opportunity to consult, challenge, and influence marketing business decisions to steer profitable growth.

  • You will be in the driver seat to drive the Budget process supporting your DMC Finance team to develop transparent reporting layers for cost development.

  • With your Marketing experience in e-Commerce you are comfortable navigating a dynamic and complex environment. In the co-pilot seat, you are capable of facilitating and challenging marketing investment cases and translate these into actionable budget allocations.

  • You contribute to team success by identifying and improving our business and financial processes.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You have a University degree in Economics, Finance or Business and 3-5 years of experience in the field of Finance, Commercial Planning or Business development.

  • You have a strong sense of ownership, especially for analytical questions where you cannot let go until they are solved while questioning the result.

  • You have a profound business understanding and consider the business impact in all your decisions.

  • Proficiency in reporting and numeracy analysis. Strong MS-Excel skills are a must; SQL, VBA and other reporting tools are a plus.

  • You can translate business questions into sound financial processes in a compelling and transparent manner.

  • You are keen to drive automation which you demonstrate with strong technical knowledge. Experience in developing business proposals and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is a plus.

  • You have a stakeholder centric approach and drive fruitful collaborations through stakeholder upskilling and building connections between departments.

  • You have solid presentation skills and are strong in verbal and written communication in English.
