Responsibilities:- Able to complete all the tasks of a Design Team Leader in the BU Mounts Product Engineering Organization ("working manager as needed")
- Overall responsible for quality and in-time delivery of design tasks performed by design department, considering design to cost (D2C) approaches of the product cluster(s)
- Responsible to ensure that design department follows guidelines, standards and and best practice portfolios established by each Product Cluster and Robust Engineering Leadership
- Risk analysis for incoming customer requirements and outgoing design concepts; carrying out root cause analyses and implementing measures if design goals were not achieved (e.g. hard ware loops)
- Responsible for team development including regular performance interviews with team members; Identifiying and promoting talents
- Prepare monthly KPI reports for the management
- Manage Design and FEA software strategy.
- Regional support to Innovation Roadmap - Contribution
- Support other regions
Engineering degree (Master, Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial or Design Engineering or similar); Master preferable
>5 years related work experience preferable
Knowledge in NVH and rubber matrials preferable
Experience in nonlinear FEA system preferable
English, local language
Experience in D-FMEA participation preferable
