Job Description
Graduate Designer - Wise Platform Design
We’re looking for a talented Graduate Designer to join our Wise Platform design team here in London. You’ll be working with the cross-functional teams that make up Wise Platform — a squad that helps banks and large enterprises move the world’s money with speed, certainty and ease. You’ll be part of Wise’s global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system. Because people without borders need money without borders.
Over the past decade, Wise has built a global payments infrastructure that has revolutionised how money moves around the world. Now, with Wise Platform, other companies can gain access to our industry-leading, reliable service seamlessly.
We’ve partnered with banks, FinTechs and global enterprise platforms, opening up the benefits of Wise’s payments infrastructure to millions of end customers around the world. Now, we’re looking to take Wise Platform’s brand to the next level. And that’s where you come in.
How you will contribute to the Wise Platform Design team:

You’ll get to know Wise product teams and customers, building empathy and deep understanding of their needs.

You’ll be honing and flexing your craft skills in a collaborative environment. Helping bring our new Wise Platform brand to life through the creation of event experiences and a range of marketing materials that support our marketing and sales teams.

You’ll be influential in your team, guiding them to prioritise customer-centricity, creativity, and design quality.

You will have flexibility in how and where you work. We understand everyone needs a little something different - so we’ll do our best to make it happen, but we recommend coming to the office as much as possible in your first months!

Qualifications
What does it take? These things are a must:
-
Your graduation year is 2023 or 2024 from a Bachelors or Masters degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Design or similar or kickstarting your design career.

You are able to start a full time graduate job in October 2024.

Eligible to work in London (no sponsorship is available for this role)

You’ve got a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design skills, solid craft and your ability to work across a broad range of brand touchpoints.

You have an understanding of how to translate a brand across both print and digital collateral from social media assets to pitch decks.
-
Experience creating and art-working collateral for exhibitions and events.

Skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.

You’re able to clearly rationalise your decisions to other team members.
And these would be great, but aren’t essential:

Understanding of how to design responsive web experiences.

You’re curious about learning from user testing and iterating on your work.

You have knowledge or experience of creating production ready deliverables.
