About the roleAs a Design Engineer, you’ll bridge the gap between design vision and technical implementation. You will combine engineering expertise with design sensibility to create polished, engaging user experiences. This unique role works closely with our Product Design team, translating detailed design specifications into pixel-perfect implementations while maintaining technical excellence.
In this role, you willDesign and maintain scalable, resilient systems that power our knowledge-sharing platforms.
Develop core backend features and services across our product suite.
Implement robust deployment systems and monitor performance.
Collaborate with teams to deliver impactful features.
Your background looks something like
Proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript) and/or JVM (Kotlin)—our two products have different backends.
Strong experience building and scaling backend systems.
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and cloud platforms (particularly GCP).
Experience with HTTP APIs, authentication protocols, and web services.
Track record of building production-grade systems.
Help shape AI's future alongside brilliant minds from Notion, Dropbox, Slack, Databricks, Google, McKinsey, and BCG.
