What will you do?
Performs product electrical/mechanical design of HVAC units,
interact with mechanical, electrical and product engineering teams to develop HVAC units.
How will you do it?
Design of electrical harness 3D models and routing
Design of electrical harness schematics, piping and instrumentation diagram
Design of mechanical 3D models, piping, sheet metal & assemblies
Design Reviews, Audits, DFMEA, DFMA
Interact with Product Engineering to understand system interactions and constraints, provide guidance and feedback
Develop root cause analysis, document and solve design issues.
Develop and improve design guidelines and processes.
Verify design with simulation tools.
2D Engineering drawings interpretation and creation
Bom management
What are we looking for?
Creo Parametric or similar experience.
PLM Windchill experience
SAP experience
Electrical design knowledge
Mechanical design knowledge
Highly organized
Soft skills
Good communication and written skills
Industrial Design, Automotive Design, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aeronautical, Electronic/Electrical Engineers
Previous experience in Design areas required
HVAC experience required is a plus
