What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a Design Engineer to join our Product Team. You’ll take high-level product ideas and turn them into robust, manufacturable designs that hit cost targets, delight customers, and push boundaries in modularity, features, and market impact. If you love iterating when a design doesn’t work the first time, obsessing over the perfect solution, and proactively spotting opportunities on the production floor or in the industry, this role is for you. We need creative problem-solvers and innovators who thrive in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop solid models, evaluate prototypes, and deliver complete design packages for drafting.
- Take a direct, hands-on approach to building and testing prototypes.
- Leverage R&D resources for rapid design iterations and validation.
- Research and evaluate purchased components to improve performance, cost, and features.
- Observe manufacturing processes to drive design improvements that reduce costs and lead times.
- Ensure designs meet customer strength requirements and relevant industry standards/codes.
- Interpret engineering specifications and design codes accurately.
- Engage directly with end users — including travel to manufacturing facilities and conversations with maintenance leaders — to understand real-world product usage.
- Manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software and FEA (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
- Experience with a New Product Introduction (NPI) stage-gate process is a plus.

Skills Required
