What will your responsibilities be?

  • Main responsibility will be to transfer knowledge from Development to Production

  • Support of the Cut&Sew and JIT plant(s) in the production launch phase

  • Operation and control of one or more development projects for automotive trim development from concept to production readiness

  • Coordination of the project team in order to achieve the development goal, production readiness and timing

  • Responsible for the generation, release and update of the product specific documentation like patterns, drawings, BOM’s (Bill of Materials), samples, etc.

  • Technical problem solving and identification of the most suitable solution

  • Presentations and negotiations with customers & suppliers

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

  • Min. Secondary education with focus on textile or similar discipline

  • Several years of of professional experience in the production oriented trim development (for the automotive industry)

  • Well founded knowledge in all areas of sewing techniques and their applications

  • Good knowledge in the area of cutting and cutting techniques

  • Knowledge about the processes in Cut&Sew and JIT plants

  • Previous Armrest/Headrest trim development experience is beneficial

  • Experienced in all current construction methods in the area of trim development

  • Advanced knowledge of English language

  • Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 50%)
