Your Team, Your Impact
The Switching Frontend Methodologies and Tools team is responsible for front-end methodologies and tools used by the Design and DV teams throughout the pre-silicon development process. The team defines, develops, and maintains various tools; provides support for tool issues and user errors; manages UNIX environment configurations; and handles source control systems (Git/Gerrit). Additionally, the team is in charge of coding and maintaining the CI (Continuous Integration) infrastructure for pre-silicon hardware development.What You Can Expect
Work closely with team members to develop and support various tools and scripts maintained by the team.
Develop tools and scripts in Python, Perl, and SystemVerilog.
Contribute to both batch-mode and GUI-based tool development.
Work with Git for source control and help integrate AI-based tools and workflows into the development process.
What We're Looking For
- CAD Engineering Intern—a 2nd-year student in electrical engineering or computer science.
Familiarity with Python or Perl is a plus but not mandatory.
A strong desire to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering environment is essential.
