Job Description:

Job Title: NCG Digital Designer

Location: Trondheim
Department: Digital Design / Engineering
Employment Type: Full-Time, Entry-Level (New College Graduate)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative New College Graduate (NCG) Digital Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. As an NCG Digital Designer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and verification of digital integrated circuits and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a passion for digital design and innovation to launch their careers in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and verify digital circuits and systems using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Participate in the development of RTL (Register Transfer Level) code using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
  • Assist in simulation, synthesis, and timing analysis to ensure design functionality and performance.
  • Support the integration and validation of digital IP blocks within larger system-on-chip (SoC) architectures.
  • Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and project planning activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including analog designers, verification engineers, and software developers.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in digital design.

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
    • Strong understanding of digital logic design, computer architecture, and hardware description languages (HDLs).
    • Familiarity with digital design tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics) is a plus.
    • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, TCL) is advantageous.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
