Design Director

Wipro Designit Services, Inc., d/b/a Designit, headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, seeks a Design Director position for a one-day-per-week in Brooklyn, NY, the other four days telecommuting, with travel five days per month to various U.S. locations. 
Leading a team of multidisciplinary designers, who will be defining a design-led approach for pre-sales motions and recruit, hire, and onboard new design talent as needed = 15%. Defining how to win with a design-led approach consistently innovating on how we go to market = 15%.
Collaborating with internal account executives to shape design-led pitches and proposals for $100M+, transformation-focused client engagements (typically RFP responses) = 10%. Presenting proposals to executive-level clients, in collaboration with internal account team = 15%.
Determining the strategy, approach, and level of investment for proposal creation = 15%.
Leading the creation of the overall client engagement model (project approach) for Designit's participation in pre-sales motions, in collaboration with Designit practice leaders = 15%. Facilitate design lead workshops for clients and internal teams = 5%.
Project Management: Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion and collaborate with project managers to ensure projects stay on track and within budget = 10%.

Master's degree in Industrial Design,
Graphic Design or Human Centric Design and two years of experience in design and implementation of digital applications, products and services required. 
Some experience with Sketch, Figma, Invision, Miro and Dovetail software required.
Some experience with design research, user experience design, design and service strategy, design process definition and designing workshops required. 
 $189,713 to $200,000 per year.
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
