Responsible for working closely with clients and sales executives to develop optimal solutions that leverage AutoStore and supporting technologies to maximize customer ROI.

Position Overview:
The Solution Designer will focus on optimizing Autostore empowered by Kardex systems to maximize operational efficiency, accuracy, and storage density for warehouse and manufacturing operators.
This role requires a deep understanding of warehouse logistics, simulation modeling, and engineering principles to create tailored solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Optimization: Utilize simulation and engineering tools to analyze and optimize Autostore layouts and processes, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and storage density.
Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data related to warehouse operations, including inventory flow, storage requirements, and order fulfillment processes.
Simulation Modeling: Develop and run simulation models to predict system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose design improvements.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and sales teams to gather requirements and ensure designs align with client objectives and industry best practices.
Client Engagement: Present design solutions and simulation results to clients, providing clear explanations of the benefits and potential impact on their operations.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance Autostore designs and operational strategies.
Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and simulation reports to support project implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in warehouse design, operations, or related roles, with a focus on automated systems preferred including: AutoStore, Conveyor, Mobile Robots, Bin Picking Robotics and more.
Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, FlexSim, or similar) and engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and modeling.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management practices is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Likely to have a continuing role in customer support to address clients’ issues in the usage of organizational products/services.
