Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for an associate Design and Analysis Engineer to join the Mission Systems team located in Ridley Park, PA. The selected candidate will be responsible for integrating mission systems hardware and software upgrades into the V-22 Osprey avionics architecture. Crew systems design is also part of the job responsibilities.
Mission Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

Develop avionics systems requirements and system design covering a variety of V-22 avionics subsystems. Subsystems including: navigation, communications, displays, aircraft health, surveillance, and electronic warfare.

Define and update interface control between the V-22 mission software and V-22 sub-systems.

Validate and verify system requirements using both real and simulated test equipment in our Ridley-park located avionics systems integration laboratory.

Integrate, test, and identify issues for hardware and software provided by domestic and international sub-suppliers.

Support our customer in troubleshooting post-delivery technical problems that are raised by the pilot and maintainer community.

Collaborate with Boeing and customer stakeholders to help develop future upgrades to into the avionics architecture.
Crew Systems Responsibilities:

Develop Crew Systems and Human Factors requirements and develop prototypes.

Develop and maintain Crew Systems and Design for Maintainer documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-centered designs for operator and maintainer interfaces, displays, and controls.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

1+ years engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

Software and/or integration experience

Experience in the aerospace industry.

Crew Systems and/or Human Factors experience.

Summary Pay Range: $85,850 - $116,150
