The Boeing Company is seeking a Design & Analysis Engineer to support the Richter Avionics Lab at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
The Richter Lab is a system integration and test facility supporting the F-15 flight test community for the United States Air Force. Principal responsibilities will include collaborating within a group of dedicated engineers to support the test and evaluation of new aircraft sensors, weapons, datalinks, and airborne computing systems. The successful applicant will have an interest in continual learning and a desire to apply their skills in a dynamic flight test organization.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of F-15 systems, aviation operations or maintenance experience, or experience in a comparable development and test laboratory environment.

Eglin AFB is located in the panhandle of Northwest Florida - less than 10 miles from the white sand beaches of the Gulf Coast which include a wide variety of water sports or other outdoor recreational activities.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including an Associate or Mid-Level Design & Analysis Engineer.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Test and evaluate F-15 avionics hardware and software, reporting results to DevSecOps Agile development teams and Customers
- Integrate new aircraft systems, weapons, and sensors onto the F-15 platform
- Use specialized software tools for real-time monitoring and analysis of aircraft avionics data, sensor data, and weapons data
- Operate F-15 avionics laboratory systems under test and engineering test equipment
- Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
- Design laboratory equipment upgrades and test procedures
- Perform validation testing to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
- Support flight test missions with real-time telemetry and post-flight data analysis
- Apply troubleshooting and fault isolation methodologies to support maintenance of F-15 aircraft and laboratory systems
- Interface with flight test engineers and aircrew, both military and civilian
- Collaborate with other disciplines within the flight test team to support our USAF customer
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
- This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2 or more years of experience in flight test, laboratory testing, data analysis, instrumentation, system integration, and/or simulation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
- 2 or more years of experience working with Laboratory Test, Flight Test and/or Flight Science domains
- 2 or more years of experience in avionics engineering
