Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop an ~8-person BA confirmations team, setting goals aligned to business standards and performance targets.
  • Act as the BA confirmations hub manager and primary escalation point for stakeholders across Front/Middle Office and Derivatives.
  • Manage hub capacity, coverage, and queue health to reduce aged/outstanding Rates and Credit confirmations.
  • Oversee daily workflow execution, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and escalation of breaks/exceptions across economic affirmations and unconfirmed electronic and paper trades.
  • Maintain strong Rates and Credit product knowledge to self-serve investigations and reduce dependency on other teams.
  • Oversee the Credit derivative confirmation process (Tradeserv), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to controls.
  • Ensure compliance with control frameworks and regulatory requirements, reinforcing a strong risk-and-controls culture and high-accuracy standards.
  • Drive performance against daily/weekly metrics through reporting, trend review, root-cause analysis, corrective action plans, and workflow/process improvements.

  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills across Front Office, Middle Office, and Operations, including clear escalation to senior stakeholders.
  • Client service mindset with professional, timely, solution-oriented engagement.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple queues, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk and controls with disciplined adherence to procedures and accuracy standards.
  • Rates and Credit derivatives product knowledge and OTC confirmations lifecycle expertise, including exception/break resolution.
  • Analytical problem-solving capability with a root-cause approach and focus on preventative actions; metrics-driven execution against daily/weekly targets.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced operating environment.
