PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides a superior level of customer service to both internal and external client associates for a variety of complex issues and requests on a daily basis.
- Maintains detailed knowledge of department procedures and compliance with Bank policies and procedures.
- Verifies sums of coin and currency received from branches, ATMs, customers, and money from tellers; orders and disburses coin/currency as needed to keep the vault in balance.
- Uses reports generated to keep within goals set for cash on-hand totals.
- Processes state and federal verification requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
- 2-3 years' experience as a teller or similar role in a retail banking environment, or equivalent work experience of 3-5 years, required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- General knowledge of basic banking principles.
- Troubleshoot, attention to detail, problem solve and make timely decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues making sound judgments.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs of the department.
- Ability to work with detailed information in an efficient and accurate manner, while meeting established deadlines.
Skills Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years' experience as a teller or similar retail banking role, or 3-5 years' equivalent work experience
- General knowledge of basic banking principles
- Attention to detail, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral interpersonal and communication skills
