Key Responsibilities:

1.              Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Define and execute the deposits product strategy aligned with the bank’s overall strategy for both branch and digital channels
  • Manage a portfolio of deposits products across categories:
  • transactional accounts & time deposits
  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Drive product rationalisation and lifecycle management, including enhancements, repricing or product exits

2.              Product Development, Launch & campaign management

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process from concept to launch
  • Develop product documentation, including product approval and evaluation
  • Coordinate product approvals across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Finance
  • Oversee product launches & campaigns across branch and digital channels

3.              Regulatory, Risk & Governance

Ensure full compliance with:

  • Local banking regulations across ABS, MAS, industry steer committees
  • Fair Dealing Outcomes
  • Manage interactions with Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit on product-related matters
  • Monitor regulatory developments and recommend product or process changes as required

4.              Performance Management & Analytics

  • Track and analyse product performance including:
  • Deposits portfolio volumes, revenue & spreads
  • Campaign results & fulfillment
  • Customer complaints
  • Identify underperforming products and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare management reports and presentation slides for senior stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement based on data, insights, customer feedback, and front office input

5.              Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Act as the primary product interface between the bank and deposits partners
  • Manage senior internal stakeholders across the banks
  • Participate in strategic discussions to drive the business strategy

  • A degree in business, finance, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in product management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering innovative products that meet customer needs
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and drive business results
