Join Locus Robotics as a skilled and dynamic Project Manager on our Deployment Team, where you'll play a key role in delivering innovative robotics solutions to our customers. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end management of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) deployment projects—developing detailed project plans, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and guiding cross-functional teams through successful implementations. You’ll be responsible for making critical path decisions during deployments, ensuring timelines are met, and managing multiple projects across geographically diverse locations using proven project management methodologies.

This Germany-based role supports the EMEA region and requires approximately 50% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and project manage the deployment of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions within customer warehouse environments, ensuring timely execution and successful implementation.
  • Facilitate customer kickoff sessions to define expectations, outline project milestones, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders at the start of each deployment
  • Drive customer workshops to clarify project goals, gather requirements, and lock in the final scope and technical configuration for each deployment.
  • Develop project schedules, cross-functional plans, and resource allocation strategies to ensure effective execution and alignment across teams.
  • Ensure projects stay on track by coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams, including internal staff, client stakeholders, and external vendors, to align resources with project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assure customer satisfaction, coordinating team resources to address customer issues with speed and efficiency.
  • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful project elements.
  • Communicate project status weekly through project dashboard reporting process.
  • Development of issue mitigation options cross functionally, gaining approval of plans, and ensuring execution of those plan.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, CIS or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in high tech project management.
  • 3+ years’ experience in 3PL, logistics, supply chain, warehousing.
  • 3+ years’ experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
  • Proven ability to manage outward-facing project teams involving dedicated cross functional staff, client resources, and outside vendors.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining complex project plans related applications.
  • Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Native or professional-level German communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with German-speaking customers.
  • Customer interfacing skills, strong business acumen.
