Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Handling any shipping/extraction email queries received from the Account teams with regards to their accounts and appliances.
- Liaising with customers to arrange the extraction of our appliances, helping them to prepare them for shipment and arrange the courier service for them to be collected and returned.
- Helping to arrange and prepare shipments out of our depots primarily but also assisting other departments in any shipping requirements they may have. E.g. for support and maintenance purposes.
- Monitoring all shipments to ensure they arrive on time and resolving any issues encountered along the way to keep the process as smooth and quick as possible.
- Maintaining records on our internal systems to ensure that all information Is current and accurate with regards to the whereabouts of all stock.
- Liaising with appliance suppliers to ensure sufficient supply of all stock to meet demand
- Ensuring that the site is well maintained, and that security, health & safety policies are all adhered to
- Ensuring that the general day to day operation is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience working in an office environment and dealing with administrative tasks
- Excellent Numeracy and communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize work
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Experience in office management, including health & safety and maintenance co-ordination
- Fire Marshall and First Aid qualifications are ideal, but not required. Training will be given.
- Experience in dealing with courier services, particularly Fedex
- Experience in US Export controls is ideal but not required
- Experience in using Workday and/or Salesforce is ideal, but not required
