The Armis Deployment Engineer is a full-time role dedicated to rapidly deploying the Armis platform for our customers. This position is instrumental in accelerating the time to value by collaborating closely with the Customer Success team to plan, deploy, and operationalize the Armis platform. The deployment engineer will ensure the implementation and configuration of all aspects of the platform, including reporting, dashboards, policies, and overall system setup, to deliver maximum product value. Additionally, the role involves providing expert support, in-depth analysis, and research to tackle complex issues related to deploying sophisticated cybersecurity infrastructures. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that requires maintaining a high level of proficiency with Armis products and solutions within customer networks.
The Armis Deployment Engineer will be responsible for full platform deployment, including, but not limited, to the following activities:
What You'll Do:
- Interact across Success/Sales teams and development teams at the peer level as part of the customer onboarding process.
- Expedite the deployment process of the Armis platform, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to create and execute deployment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Provide expert support, in-depth analysis, and research to address complex issues related to deploying sophisticated cybersecurity infrastructures.
- Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and hands-on expertise with the Armis products and solutions deployed within the customer’s network.
- Work in collaboration with the Armis success team to refine and translate complex requirements and execute best practice solutions.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the best placement and setup for collection devices.
- Plan and execute the onsite and/or remote deployment of Armis collectors at various client locations.
- Ensure the customer deployments and configurations align with business use cases as defined by the Success team and drive Armis adoption and implementation plans
- Conduct system assessments and compatibility checks to ensure successful integration with existing client infrastructures.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support during deployment, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive deployment documentation, including configuration guides, troubleshooting manuals, and user guides.
- Train clients' technical staff on the operation and maintenance of integrated systems.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience as full-time Deployment Engineer highly preferred or as a Professional Services Engineer, Consultant, or IT/Operations Engineering
- 5+ years experience in a combination of the following; designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging and coordinating Unified Communications products, devices, solutions, and technologies for small, medium, large and/or enterprise businesses
- 3+ years experience working in Security/IT/Healthcare/ICT/Commercial sectors
- Experience analyzing, use and configuring medium to enterprise networks.
- Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven environment and provide mentorship to other members of the work group.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deployment projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 60%)
Technical Skills
- B.S in IT, IS, CS, MIS, (or equivalent degree) and/or relevant industry qualifications (CISSP, Security +,CEH) desired
- Familiarity/Experience in Cyber Security i.e Endpoint, SOAR, SIEM
- Linux Operating System basic operation and troubleshooting (i.e. Redhat Linux / CentOS)
- Networking (LAN/WAN, Routing/Switching protocols, Network Security)
Pay ranges $106,500 to $144,500
