As we continue to expand our cloud and enterprise business globally, we are seeking a Deployment Engineer, Americas to help customers successfully deploy, configure, and adopt AlgoSec solutions while serving as a trusted technical partner throughout the implementation process. This role is ideal for a customer-focused, results-driven problem solver who thrives in complex technical environments and takes ownership of delivering successful outcomes.

Reporting to: Deployment Engineering Team Leader

Location: Canada (Home Office)

What You’ll Do

  • Deploy and support migrations of AlgoSec products for customers across the Americas, including installation, configuration, administration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and hands-on training to accelerate time to production.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, Support, and R&D to support successful customer implementations and address technical needs throughout the deployment process.
  • Support Account Managers in pre-sales activities and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Develop deep expertise in the AlgoSec platform and best practices for implementing within customer environments.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar technical deployment, implementation, or professional services role within a software company.
  • Experience working in Linux/UNIX environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including subnets, interfaces, routing, network layers, and protocols such as SSH, HTTPS, and SMTP.
  • Experience with networking devices such as switches and routers; exposure to virtual routing or software-defined networking is a plus.
  • Experience with firewall administration and configuration, including Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar technologies, is a plus.
  • Customer-facing experience with a strong focus on building trusted relationships, understanding customer needs, and advocating for those needs across internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a result-driven, ownership-oriented approach.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in deadline-driven or business-critical situations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, working mostly on-site with AlgoSec customers in the Americas.

Nice to Have

  • Scripting experience in Linux environments, such as Perl or shell scripting.
  • AlgoSec experience or certification.
  • Basic database knowledge.
