Join our multifaceted CDx R&D team as a Department Administrative Assistant, where you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running efficiently. Your ability to handle a variety of tasks, from prioritizing office spaces to coordinating events and handling calendars, will ensure our team stays on track and focused. This is an excellent opportunity for a meticulous professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle office supplies, maintain organization in supply cabinets and office areas, and distribute incoming mail.

  • Coordinate with IT and hiring managers to set up workspaces and prepare new hire training materials.

  • Collaborate with workplace services and IT to plan and prioritize events.

  • Facilitate communication and coordination between departments and external parties.

  • Schedule meetings, take notes, and own the calendar for the CDx R&D AVP.

  • Arrange travel, process invoices, and handle receipts in compliance with company policies.

  • Act as backup for pathology services, leading shipping and courier services with external vendors and consultants.

  • Provide support to project management with minor tasks as needed.

  • Handle confidential and critical tasks with integrity and discretion.

  • Interact expertly and optimally with personnel at all interpersonal levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience or Master's Degree or equivalent.
    Higher education, niche training/certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Typically requires at least 3+ years of proven experience.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; event management experience is a plus.

  • Broad knowledge of departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Proficiency in personal computer software, online applications, and office equipment.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, good judgment, integrity, and subtlety.
