Summary
The Demo Consultant is a critical role within the pre-sales process. As a Demo Consultant, you will lead the development and maintenance of strategic product demonstrations and accounts, for use by the Solution Consultants. This includes working cross-functionally with Product Management, R&D, Product Marketing, Sales and our customers, to develop compelling product demonstrations that will drive the close of new business.
What You'll Do
- Develop compelling demos for all Workiva Solutions
- Lead the development and roll out of product demonstration, which includes storyboarding, validation, feedback prioritization, demo build, demo asset design, roll out communication and assist with Solution Consultant enablement
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including R&D, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales to ensure key functionality and messaging is incorporated into demos
- Create, curate, and maintain demo assets on internal sites for centralized access
- Catalog existing proof of concepts for adoption and future use by Solution Consultants
- Monitor top opportunities, provide demo strategy and architecture advice as needed for the Go to Market teams
- Lead requirements gathering and identification of the feature priority
- Understand and implement the newest Workiva features and keep up with the fast pace of Workiva product releases
- Monitor and respond to demo related questions; Troubleshoot issues with the demo environment and collaborate with technical teams as needed to resolve issues
- Partner closely with Solution Consultant leadership to evangelize demos, tools, and resources; communicate and market demo release updates
- Partner closely with the go to market team and product marketing on product roadmap in order to manage creation of marketing demo assets and enablement
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 2 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands on technical experience with SaaS solutions, could technologies, and architectures
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
- Technical aptitude to understand data models, system integrations, data migration, and how to implement Workiva
- Project management skills to orchestrate complex projects
- Capability to gather business needs and present a value based, compelling software demonstration
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
- Up to 30% travel
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, if not in a Workiva office
How You'll Be Rewarded
• Salary range in the US: $79,000.00 - $134,000.00• Eligible for commission based on sales performance
• Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
• 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
