The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining the consensus 18 months rolling demand plan for finished goods at multiple levels of aggregation, using statistical models and utilizing insights from Sales, Marketing, and Finance. He/she manages the flow of supply to secure 100% Stock availability and efficient inventory levels. The Demand & Supply Planner ensures alignment with company’s financial and sales plans. He/she works closely with his/her peers in Red Bull Kazakhstan to develop, implement and share best practices in alignment with PPL HQ.

Job Description

DEMAND PLANNING

• Responsible for analyzing the historical sales data, trends, base growth, distribution, market share and create/analyze a statistical forecast and determine the Operations Demand Plan in order to challenge/align with the Sales Demand Plan.

• Collaborate with Sales to understand the past performance of sales, drive root cause analyzes to understand error in prior periods and highlight inconsistencies the latest. Challenge the latest sales demand plan, to understand underlying assumptions and compare with the Operations Demand Plan.

• In collaboration with Sales, Finance and Operations, align on the consensus Demand Plan during the monthly Demand Planning Meeting and update/fill out/adjust the Demand Plan in the planning tools in accordance with the consensus.

• Foster collaboration and chair meetings with key customers (s) and/or distribution partner(s) to maintain knowledge of customers practices and achieve consensus forecast.

• Collaborate with Finance & Sales to establish long term SKU portfolio management based on complexity and costs matrix.


S&OP PLANNING.

• Responsible for supporting the Ops Manager in driving the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and defining the meetings(structure), deadlines for finished goods products according to the Global Guidelines.

• Based upon the consensus Demand Plan, generate the monthly local Supply Plan as input for the Global S&OP Process by defining the location split of the Demand Plan, define target stock levels, consider restrictions, etc.

• Implement the globally balanced S&OP in the local supply planning execution.

• Provide to the Operations Manager with a rolling forecast on inbound and outbound volumes


SUPPLY PLANNING / EXECUTION

• Translate monthly (globally balanced) supply plan to a weekly planning according to the guidelines, restrictions from Global Supply Chain Planning & Global Logistics HQ.

• Lead solutions findings and execution of demand and supply imbalances.

• Establish and manage inventory levels to ensure no out of stocks, inventory levels according to business plans and ensure healthy product age according to the quality guidelines. Alert to the Operations Manager in case of risks in inventory management and provide plan to reduce risks.

• Manage product transitions of new and phasing out SKUs.

• Maintain and ensure accuracy of Material Master Data and Purchase Price Variance.

• Track Distributors stock levels, collaborate with Distributors to ensure they maintain the target days of supply

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 5 plus years of experience working in areas of Demand & Supply Planning and Sales forecasting

• Comprehensive knowledge of retail accounts operations, forecasting technology, systems, market research data and supply chain management.

• Ability to develop relationships with other areas of the business particularly the Sales, Finance and Marketing teams.

• Proven ability to conduct complex, quantitative and statistical analyses complimented with qualitative inputs from multiple sources to draw conclusions and make recommendations.

• Strong leadership skills, can motivate and lead teams

• Deep knowledge and experience in SAP – ERP & Planning tools.

• Advanced MS Office skills, specially Excel.

• Self-motivated team member who can drive resolution to issues with strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, including presenting and training.

• Fluent English skills

• Fluent Russian skills

• Provides correct long-term demand & supply planning depicted in our (global) planning tools.

• Define and plan against an optimal inventory level in order to prevent OOS and overstock considering the market/supply chain volatilities.

• Continuous improvement suggestions and implementation through root cause analyzes within the Demand & Supply Planning process.

• Meet or exceed targeted KPI’s that include but are not limited to SKU Forecast Accuracy and Service Level.

• Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with internal customers, business units and Operations team members
