SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Demand & Supply Planner you will plan raw materials, finished goods & production according to demand, stock level, manpower, Raw Materials and packaging availability, and machine capacity for part of production and/or specific products within a Segment. This role is based in Addis Ababa and reports to the Supply Chian Manager.
Responsibilities:

Make realistic a production & purchase schedule for part of Production or for specific products for Segments by gathering and analyzing customer demand and transferring this demand to a daily plan by balancing between On Time in Full (OTIF), inventory levels, and production costs.

Develop and analyze KPIs relevant to the assigned area and support improvement initiatives.

Actively develop planning process by utilizing existing functionalities in ERP as well as implementing new ones according to best practices for planning in Jotun Operations System.

Establish tight communication with Purchasing, CSD, Sales, and Production to have the best information for the daily plan.

Qualification & experience

Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field

3 - 6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company.
