Grab Food Demand Strategy team is the heartbeat of our organization, flexing its and creativity to promote our growth. We draw strength from our profound understanding of our customers' needs, and use this knowledge to tailor promotions and services that cater well to them. From recommending delectable dishes tailored to our consumers' unique preferences, to offering promotions that are beneficial for our merchants, our team charts the growth path. Get to Know the Role
This position is not just a role, but a unique opportunity to make an impact. You will be based onsite in Grab Jakarta office and will help guide national demand plans and strategies across the entire scope of Indonesia. You also encompass ensuring the immaculate end-to-end execution of these strategies. Thus, offering a substantial platform to translate ideas into action, and making a difference. You will be reporting directly to the Demand Strategy Manager, you are an instrumental part of a team that fuel growth of the business.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will entrusted with the following main responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of short to medium-term factors improving demand growth in the Food business, including demand shaping, customer segmentation, churn and retention analysis, market scans, and experimentation.
- Develop accurate forecasts for expenditures on promotions, incentives, and other main plans for weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring resource allocation.
- Craft compelling insights to influence senior partners and facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.
- Assume project management responsibilities for experiments and projects, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
- Design efficient promotional structures and other projects to improve demand growth in the Food business, collaborating with teams to implement these strategies.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in financial services, management consulting, or technology firms is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing complex data sets using Excel (can perform complex functions) is necessary and proficiency in Tableau.
- Working knowledge of SQL, though not mandatory.
- Must complex analyses to diverse audiences and translate findings into relevant business insights.
- Demonstrate a mindset and capacity to grow.
