All about the role:
The Demand Planning Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining sales plan with the aim to achieve optimum flow of product from in house factories and as well as OEM factories to Romanian customers, also assuring the right level of stock for each product.
What you'll do:
· Planning cycle:
o Being proactive during collaborative meetings with other Stakeholders: Sales, Business Controlling, Product Line
o Discuss volumes/models and then upload sales forecasts to SAP-APO
o Keep challenging deadlines in plans definition
o Maintain close contact (weekly SQUAD Meetings) with Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, to achieve delivery/revenues targets. Analyze and comment production, ramp-up, target stock levels, give clear priorities to factories about commercial country needs.
o Be ready to change SAP-APO plans adjusting to the continuously changing situation, with an almost “real-time” frequency
o Daily communication with Sales about product availability
· Stock management:
o Be the owner of optimizing the inventory mix, pay attention to critical models - slow or no movers, obsolete, excessive etc.
o Control, analyze, predict trends and take actions to minimize side effects
o Be the owner of the returns to factory flow, keep under control Graded stock
· Promo planning: manage demand peaks along Supply Chain
· Manage phase in/phase out of products in collaboration with Product Line and Sales
· Forecast accuracy (M-1 & M-3) and stock level KPIs: use them as main targets for your job and share trends, drive others to do the same
· Material Master Data management:
o Make sure that all item records in SAP are updated, so that each model could be ordered, transferred, sold to customers
o Solve issues quickly when some mismatch appears
· Continuous improvement: be curious and ready to improve processes you are working on daily
Who you are:
· University graduate, preferably from Engineering or Management disciplines
· 1 to 3 years of experience in similar role (preferred in Consumer goods or FMCG)
· Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with ability to understand complex and uncertain scenarios
· Good analytical and strong excel skills. Power BI knowledge is a plus
· Full proficiency in both written and spoken Romanian and English language
· SAP /APO knowledge is must
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Ability to influence others and to play as a driver in cross functional projects
· Enthusiastic team player
