Position Summary
The Demand Planning Sr. Manager is responsible for the Beer Division Demand Planning function that delivers a consensus depletion forecast as part of the monthly S&OP process thru accurate forecasting that drives the operational planning across the supply chain, financial guidance and strategic Beer Leadership direction.
This role involves leading a team of demand planners with the goal of improving forecast accuracy thru creating a forecast using foundational machine learning modeling combined with enrichment of information from collaboration with Commercial partners & senior leadership.
Responsibilities

Forecasting and Demand Planning: Owns the development and maintenance of accurate demand forecasts using statistical, machine learning and driver-based modeling, while quantitatively enriching the modeling thru a variety of potential impacts (i.e. macroeconomic indicators, market share dynamics, pricing elasticity, promotional impacts) to predict future demand.

Demonstrate the ability to quantify relationships between business drivers and demand outcomes.

Proficiency in statistical modelling and its application to forecasting.

Expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools, to drive decision making/consensus across cross functional partners and from the planner/analyst level up to the Beer Leadership Team.

Digital Competency: Demonstrated experience across use of Data Science and Analytics- knowledge of advanced analytics and ML models and use of predictive and prescriptive analytics

Ability to lead the organization at all levels from planner up to BLT thru probability analysis, utilizing scenario planning capabilities.

Strategic Leadership:

Translate S&OP Vision into the development the Beer Division demand planning operating model in alignment with the company’s business objectives.

Ability to transform the developed process from strategic vision into actionable tasks and ensure their execution, including managing any necessary changes in an agile fashion.

Proven ability to lead teams and cross functional partners in digital transformation initiatives within the demand planning processes.

Talent Mgt: Recruit, build and develop a team of high performing, digital fluent Demand Planners, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

Business Acumen: Demonstrated knowledge and application of how Demand Planning supports the commercial, end to end supply chain (i.e. Supply Planning, manufacturing, logistics, procurement), and financial planning.

Collaboration and Communication:

Foster strong relationships with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to integrate relevant data and insights to drive the right forecast enhancements.

Lead cross-functional meetings between sales, marketing, and finance leaders to align on demand planning strategies and drive results through quantitative insights and action-oriented facilitation.

Demonstrates effective communication that is genuine and authentic, as well as clear, concise, and persuasive in both written and oral communication.

Ability to own, present and drive consensus of overall forecast to all levels of the organization, including the Beer Leadership Team.

Stay updated and apply relevant industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in demand planning and supply chain management.

Role Expertise
-
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain with 12+ years in Supply Chain, 6-8+ years in Demand Planning, 5+ years of team management experience required.

Career experience working across Commercial, Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing and/or Procurement planning.

Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the CPG/Beverage Alcohol industry

Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from Commercial, Supply Chain, finance, and digital technology teams

Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision practices (model accuracy and reliability, driver correlation accuracy), technology and supporting industry principles.

Expert within conflict management. Understands organizational “hot spots” and focuses diverse groups on common organizational outcomes. Fosters productive dialogue and manages high-tension situations with diplomacy and tact to maintain credibility and influence.

Deep understanding of technology enablement and current technology tools (i.e. o9, Blue Yonder, SA)

The salary range for this role is:
$127,500.00 - $203,600.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
