About The Role:
As a Demand Planning Manager at Feastables, you will be positioned within the PRGM (Profit Revenue Growth Management) organization and will play a critical role in converting point-of-sale (POS) unit forecasts into delivery and shipment volume forecasts. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including the PRGM Customer Planning team, to ensure that forecasts are accurate and aligned with business needs
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Translate POS unit forecasts into delivery and shipment volume forecasts, considering factors such as lead times, inventory positions, and production capacities
- Analyze POS data to identify trends and patterns that influence shipment volumes, adjusting forecasts to reflect real-time market conditions and operational constraints
- Work closely with the PRGM Customer Planning team, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure that POS forecasts are effectively converted into shipment plans that meet customer demand and optimize inventory levels
- Generate detailed reports on forecast conversion accuracy, providing insights into variances and recommendations for improvement
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the forecast conversion process, leveraging new tools and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Assist the Director of Demand Planning in coordinating the demand planning process, ensuring that all forecasts are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Recipe For Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, with specific experience in converting POS data into delivery and shipment forecasts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in demand forecasting tools and techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments, particularly with PRGM Customer Planning
- Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems
