Position Summary
As a Demand Planning & Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate sales forecasting, effective inventory management, and smooth logistics operations across FMC Agro Bulgaria. You will play a key role in aligning demand and supply, supporting the S&OP process, and collaborating with regional planning, finance, and commercial teams to optimise product availability and customer service.
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead accurate sales planning over a three-year horizon and maintain the S&OP sales plan
- Monitor stock levels, production plans, and sales to prevent shortages and overstocking
- Prepare and submit monthly demand planning files and ensure accurate reporting
- Coordinate closely with Finance to align sales, pricing, COGS, and exchange rate data
- Manage SKU creation requests and support product lifecycle tracking
- Ensure timely and accurate product delivery with warehouse and transport partners
- Oversee order processing, dispatch, and transportation coordination
- Track inventory (including batch numbers and expiry dates) and optimise logistics costs
Mandatory Requirements:
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
- Experience in demand planning, supply chain, or logistics roles
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with continuous improvement focus
