Position Summary

As a Demand Planning & Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate sales forecasting, effective inventory management, and smooth logistics operations across FMC Agro Bulgaria. You will play a key role in aligning demand and supply, supporting the S&OP process, and collaborating with regional planning, finance, and commercial teams to optimise product availability and customer service.

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

Main Responsibilities:  

  • Lead accurate sales planning over a three-year horizon and maintain the S&OP sales plan
  • Monitor stock levels, production plans, and sales to prevent shortages and overstocking
  • Prepare and submit monthly demand planning files and ensure accurate reporting
  • Coordinate closely with Finance to align sales, pricing, COGS, and exchange rate data
  • Manage SKU creation requests and support product lifecycle tracking
  • Ensure timely and accurate product delivery with warehouse and transport partners
  • Oversee order processing, dispatch, and transportation coordination
  • Track inventory (including batch numbers and expiry dates) and optimise logistics costs

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
  • Experience in demand planning, supply chain, or logistics roles
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with continuous improvement focus
