Summary
This role is viewed as the go-to contact for all things supply chain from the time we recognize demand until product arrives in our warehouse and ships to our customers. You will interact with teammates around the globe on a regular basis to align on sales promotions, new product load in, gaps in supply plans, component shortages, and wall to Wall inventory concerns. You will frequently work with category, Sales and FP&A team’s gathering intel and data you can use to update and maintain forecast and financial plans in multiple time horizon’s.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for driving and executing the monthly demand forecasting process.
  • Ensure alignment with supply planners, sales & category directors/managers.
  • Develop and Maintain Demantra (Forecast) baseline forecast, and sales ship plans using external data from Retailer POS and Inventory reports located in Tableau dashboards 
  • Responsible for forecast accuracy, bias, Inventory, SKU strategies and metrics.
  • Contribute to monthly S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), with Director Supply Chain
    • Proactively align supply & demand imbalances and collaborate with Director Supply Chain Planning to identify gap closing actions.
    • Inventory Management strategies t, maintains optimal operating inventory levels for the managed categories (key performance metrics)
    • Collaborate with category to align on proper right inventory levels by category, SKU class and safety stock levels.
    • Ensure supply allocation in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), targets accounts for right sizing of inventory in the tactical horizon (3mths-6mths)
    • Ensuring Finished Goods Inventory optimization i.e. inventory turns
    • Guiding and supporting development of dashboards and analytics
    • Drive Improvement Activities/Projects in Demand and Supply processes and practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience
  • Requires a minimum of 2-4 years of progressively responsible business-related experience, consumer goods experience preferred
  • Prior supply/demand planning experience required
  • Demonstrated project planning and execution experience
  • Experienced engagement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to the Director Supply Chain Planning. Position regularly interacts with Sales Managers, Category Directors & Managers, Product Managers, Configuration Management, Logistics, Order Management, Replenishment Buyer Planners, and Finance.
