Ecolab is seeking a highly motivated Demand Planner Team Lead to join our Supply Chain Planning team and play a key role in driving transformation and improvements in Demand Planning and S&OP. You will work with cross-functional teams in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and Finance to develop and execute accurate demand plans that support customer needs and business growth. In this role, you will also lead a team of demand planners, ensuring efficient collaboration, alignment of priorities, and continuous development of team members. This role is ideal for a strategic and analytical professional who can lead with clarity, drive continuous improvement, and align demand planning with broader business objectives.

What You Will Do:
Lead the monthly product demand forecast cycle, validating inputs and refining statistical forecasts using the existing forecasting system.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to integrate short- and long-term market intelligence into the demand plan and maintain clear assumptions.
Ensure timely inclusion of new product launches, conversions and deactivations into the forecast.
Identify and resolve forecast deviations through exception management and root cause analysis.
Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, forecast demand, and address supply challenges
Promote a culture of continuous improvement through a loss elimination mindset and proactive process enhancement
Monitor forecast performance (accuracy, error, bias) and share KPIs with stakeholders to drive improvements.
Build a demand-based revenue plan by business unit and compare it against financial targets, challenging assumptions when needed.
Represent Demand Planning in S&OP meetings and cross-functional discussions.
Manage and coordinate a team of demand planners, setting priorities, assigning responsibilities and ensuring timely delivery of planning outputs.
Drive engagement and influence stakeholders through strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Provide ongoing feedback and coaching, support individual development plans, and lead regular one-to-one and team meetings.
Encourage best practice sharing, standardization of processes, and promote a collaborative team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing or a related field
5+ years of experience in demand planning, product marketing and/or a related field
Fluent in English (other European languages is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with demand planning tools (Kinaxis, JDA would be nice).
High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in SAP.
Previous project management experience, including Lean Six Sigma and/or Green Belt certification
Strong communication and analytical skills
Effective at building relationships and utilizing problem solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
