Job Description: 

Position Summary

The Demand Planner for the EMEA region plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate forecasting and strategic alignment of product demand across EMEA for a segment of a category ranging from 250 million $ to 500 million $. 

This position requires collaboration with our 15 country organizations and vendors, working within an international cross-functional team to develop, refine, and manage a consensus demand plan that is critical for meeting the dynamic needs of diverse markets within the EMEA scope. This commercial role includes a component of variable compensation, directly linking the Demand Planner’s rewards to the performance and success of their category. Key performance indicators linked to this role include Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Forecast Accuracy.

Responsibilities, Supporting Actions & End-Results

  • Defining demand forecasts at SKU and Country level to support and align with current business needs and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Achieving budgeted or targeted Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Maintaining forecasting accuracy for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), minimizing variances and ensuring financial predictability.
  • Ensuring airtight alignment with Supply Planners to match supply capabilities with forecasted demand accurately.
  • Coordinating the sales forecast with vendors, category managers, country business units, and key customers to ensure comprehensive market coverage and demand fulfillment.
  • Facilitating consistent communication and collaboration among stakeholders to adjust forecasts in real-time based on market changes and business needs.
