As Demand Planning & S&OP Lead, for our Sleep & Respiratory Care business, you will play a key role in shaping the demand planning and S&OP process across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for developing, aligning, and communicating a robust and accurate demand plan that drives supply, financial, and operational decisions. Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain, you will ensure one aligned view of demand and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
You will also be a key contributor to the continuous improvement of forecasting accuracy, process efficiency, and digital maturity of the S&OP process in the region.
Your role:
Building and maintaining an aligned 24-month rolling demand plan for the EMEA market organization by enriching the statistical baseline forecast with input from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and other key stakeholders.
Leading the S&OP demand cycle: preparing demand reviews, consolidating insights, facilitating discussions, and driving alignment across functions on the final forecast.
Reviewing and analyzing historical trends, book & bill ratios, and forecast errors (Bias, WMAPE) to identify improvement opportunities and enhance forecast accuracy.
Leading conversations with commercial and operational counterparts, challenging assumptions and proposing data-driven forecast adjustments.
Supporting the creation of gap-closing scenarios when demand and supply plans diverge, ensuring proactive mitigation of imbalances.
Ensuring that the EMEA demand plan is validated and signed off by regional and market leadership, serving as the official input to the supply and financial planning processes.
Acting as a change agent to strengthen forecasting discipline, process adherence, and continuous improvement across markets.
You're the right fit if:
8+ years of experience in Demand Planning and S&OP, ideally within MedTech, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industries.
Proven experience leading or facilitating S&OP processes and cross-functional planning meetings at regional or market level.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. APICS certification is a strong advantage.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural, cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and align senior stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills (including VBA/macros highly preferred).
Experience demand planning systems such as JDA, Kinaxis, O9, or similar. SAP (PRD, MP1) is a plus
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense), including knowledge of DAX, Power Query, or Python.
Exposure to AI-based forecasting or predictive analytics tools
Experience driving process improvement and system implementation projects.
LEAN or Six Sigma experience preferred.
